Since 2008, Melaka has been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site, together as Penang. Thus, their historical buildings and cultures are the things you should look for. But, not only those, because what I love about Melacca is their FOOD too! This is one of the food heaven in Malaysia, besides KL and Penang. Their history as old as 15th centuries enriches the selections of their cuisines.  With easy access from the capital city , almost everyday you can see many people swarming Melaka. And  if you talked about where to go in Melaka , Jonker and it's surrounding is your destination. It has everything the city has to offer; historical buildings still standing still, museums, the harmony street and the highest natural peak in the city located nearby.    Some cuisines are packed in around Jonker too! Destination: Melacca, Where To Go on A Budget

Malacca City -sometimes spelled Melaka, Malaka or Malacka- is the capital city of the Malaysian State of Malacca and also the oldest city on the straits of Malacca. The city was founded by King Prameswara, or Sultan Iskandar Shah, a Malay Raja of Singapore. In the 15th century, the Malacca Sultanate became a successful entrepot around this area, and drew attention of traders from Middle East, South Asia & East Asia, as well as European.  Then as the history goes, Malacca once under Portuguese administration, Dutch administrations then British rule. Thus the City can offer tourists some heritage buildings along with its histories & cultures . In 2008, it was listed -together with George Town in Penang- as UNESCO World Heritage for its long history. Kemaren dah ngurusin surat kehilangan barang di kepolisian setempat, lalu ke KBRI Thailand buat meminta trasnlasi official -nya. Nah, gw udah punya 'amunisi' untuk ngurus semua kartu-kartu gw yang hilang. Tapi itu semua bakal gw lakuin pas di Indonesia, sementara gw masih punya waktu 3 hari di Bangkok. Dengan duit kurang dari 1000 Baht, kira-kira apa yang bisa gw lakuin? BANYAK!  ----- Artikel ini merupakan rangkaian perjalanan solo backpacking gua keliling ASEAN selama kurang lebih sebulan. Prologue-nya udah gua tulis  di sini ,  kenapa gua melakukan solo travelling seperti ini.  Day 1 ,  Day 2  di Melaka,  Day 3 di Phnom Penh ,  Day 4 perjalanan ke Siem Reap ,  Day 5 keliling Angkor Wat ,  Day 6 Killing Field Siem Reap ,  Day 7  nyeberang perbatasan Kamboja-Vietnam lewat darat.   Day 8 keliling Saigon dan masuk ke  War Remnant Museum ,  Day 9 main ke  Vietnam Traditional Medicine Museum   and then   Stranded at Old Quarter Hanoi in the middle of the night.   That nig
