1. Bakmie Gang Kelinci

Jakarta legendary noodle food. Located in Pasar Baru, in "Gang Kelinci/Rabbit Alley". Been there since 1957, already opened many branches all around Indonesia, but here is where it all began!

2. Nasi Goreng Haji Mus/Nasgor Portugal

Legendary Nasi Goreng in Tomang Area, West Jakarta. Haji Mus (the owner) with his famous Nasi Goreng Portugal - Porsi Tukang Gali (Tukang Gali = digger, like grave digger, means they consume massive portion of food to keep fit & strong to work). Haji Mus been selling fried rice for 36 years. Everyday he stand while cook orders from customers for 8 hours non-stop! 300 portions of fried rice daily. 3. Kerak Telor

Kerak Telor, Batavian (Jakarta natives) traditional pancake, is a savory dish made of sticky rice and egg. Usually topped with: - serundeng (sautéed grated coconut, commonly gives the umami and sweet taste) - ebi (super tiny shrimp, fried till crispy, sometimes a bit spicy) - fried shallots for extra crispy and kick Two alternate egg; chicken egg and duck egg for mellowy sweeter taste. 4. Tahu Gejrot

Tahu Gejrot is a traditional healthy snack from Cirebon, West Java, Indonesia. Made of tahu pong or hollow tofu, served with vinegar, chilli, garlic, shallots, palm sugar. It is sweet, sour and spicy.




5. Tahu Goreng

Tahu Goreng (Fried Tofu) can be found in every corner of Indonesian cities. This one is the spicy tofu and crispy tofu. The spicy tofu has vegetables filling and they are spicy (duh!) with shredded chillies inside. Eaten with bird eye chillies for more kick! While the cripsy ones are smaller, cubicle and have additional ingredients upon ordering; barbeque, chesse and grilled corn seasonings.
